Elephant Seals (Horizonal)~

Pictured is a colony of Elephant Seals spending their brief stint on Land as they Hibernate and Malt their skin. Hunted to the brink of extinction for their oil in the 1800’s, their populations have begun to recover. These beasts can be rarely found on Land, as they spend 80% of their lives in the Water. Along the Lost Coast in Northern California, they lay still, with the exception of a few rowdy Pups who congregated away from the weary Adults.

Limited Edition Giclée, numbered out of 50 total produced.

Dated and signed by the photographer, Matt Hagen, and includes the description and a note of authenticity with the Giclée.
